Frequently Asked Questions

You'll find answers to some our most commonly asked questions here.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Closed on Monday.

What's the etiquette for tipping at your establishment?

While tipping isn't a requirement, we ask that you tip your server according to the service that was provided to you. Your tip should always be based on the subtotal (before taxes) of your bill, and it is customary to tip a minimum of fifteen percent.

EXAMPLE:

Subtotal: $35.00

Taxes: $2.96

Total: $37.96

Tip (15%): $5.25

Most wait staff in the restaurant industry only make the Federal Minimum Wage of

$2.13 per hour and rely heavily on the tipping of customers to secure a living wage.

We ask that you take care of the people that take care of you.

I paid with a credit card, but see a 4 percent fee. Can you tell me what this is for?

In an effort to streamline our efficiency, continue to provide you with the best product available, and to keep our prices low; we impose a 4 percent non-cash fee on all credit card transactions.

With the rising price of credit card processing fees, if this fee did not exist, we would have no choice but to raise our prices by approximately 10 percent across the board. We believe this to be the best course of action and it allows us to continue to serve you the best way we can.

If you wish to avoid this fee, we kindly ask that you pay in cash.

Do you allow pets?

We allow service animals as classified by the Americans with Disabilities Act and only with reasonable accommodations.

We DO NOT allow emotional support animals (with or without a certificate) inside the restaurant as they have not completed the rigorous training that service animals must undergo. You are welcome to sit at the outside tables with them (if available).

Do you have a party room available?

Unfortunately we do not; however, we are available for special events. Feel free to contact us for a quote.

I have a larger party. Would you be able to accommodate?

Due to limited seating and capacity, our largest table at this time is limited to 6 persons. We will try our best to accommodate your group; however, your party may have a wait or you may be asked to sit at various tables throughout the restaurant.

How long are the wait times?

The restaurant industry in very unpredictable and we can not gauge how long wait times will be for a table or for food. We try our best to be as quick and efficient as possible. When you enter the restaurant, we will provide your party with an approximate wait time based on the information we have at that time.

I came in to dine on the weekend and you were so busy. We had to wait for a table. Is there any way to get a table faster?

We are very busy on Saturdays and Sundays, so wait times may be longer than usual. We ask that your party be patient while we serve all our guest. Every guest is just as important as the next.

We will never sacrifice quickness for quality and you shouldn't want us to either. Every order is prepared in the order it is received and with a limited kitchen and staff, sometimes food takes a little longer to be prepared. We promise that it is definitely worth the wait!

I arrived at 2:45 p.m. and pulled on the door. It was locked. I thought you closed at 3 p.m.?

While we do officially close at 3 p.m., we promptly lock the door at 2:45 p.m.

We are a family oriented, locally owned business. As such, we want to ensure that our staff has time to properly clean and complete their task within their scheduled hours. This allows our staff to utilize the remaining time in the day to take care of family obligations, school task or any other personal responsibilities that they may need to tend to.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

I sat down to dine in with you, but when I got my order it came in a to-go container. How come?

Orders placed after 2:15 p.m. may be placed in a to-go container so that the staff can begin to focus on their closing duties for the day, which includes bussing tables and cleaning dinnerware. We believe that this allows us to be more efficient in our duties.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

I tried to call to place an order, but couldn't get through. What gives?

We know this can be frustrating!

If you call during regular business hours and do not receive an answer, more than likely we are swamped with in-house customers and do not have anyone immediately available to take your call. We ask that you wait 15 minutes and try again. If you try to call again and can't get through, please feel free to stop by and place your order. If you can't stop by, visit one of our restaurant partners, Waitr and GrubHub, online or using their respective app.
